No - Rent to Own is designed for people who need time to build a deposit or improve credit. As long as you can afford the monthly payments and initial fee, we’ll work with you to find the right property.  to this item.


You’ll typically need an upfront contribution (often called an option fee). This is normally around 3–5% of the agreed-upon purchase price, but you can put down if you wish to reduce your future balance and lower your monthly top-ups. This amount goes toward the eventual purchase of your home. 


Most agreements last between 2–5 years, giving you time to build your deposit and get mortgage ready. We’ll agree a timeline that suits your situation. 


You’re not forced to buy. If you choose not to, you simply move out when the agreement ends. Option fees and monthly top-ups are non-refundable, but there’s no mortgage commitment.


In some cases, yes - or we can help you find one that fits your budget and preferences. This flexibility is one of the biggest benefits of Rent to Own. 


If everything checks out and a property is available, you can sometimes move in within a few weeks. For others, it may take a bit longer depending on sourcing and agreements.
